KollecTrait - Misc Page

Misc Page of KollecTrait is used to manage sample types (and other future expansions!).

Important Note: Any changes made on sample types using KollecTrait is not updated in Katmandoo and is applicable for the selected datafile only. User must ensure that the sample types are added or changed in Katmandoo as well, if required.

Only one Sample type can be activated at a time to record trait scores.

Misc Page (Sample Type)
  1. A sample type that has been activated which means raw data are scored for this sample type (ie Plot).
  2. A sample type that has been deactivated in order to exclude from data recording
  3. Edit Sample type: edit the currently selected sample type in the sample type datagrid (1).
  4. De/activate Trait: activate or deactivate the currently selected sample type in the sample type  datagrid (1).
  5. Delete Trait: delete the currently selected sample type in the sample type datagrid (1) only when the sample type does not have any raw data.
  6. Deactivate All: deactivate all the sample types displayed in the sample type datagrid (1).

Add / Edit Sample type

Use [ Menu > Sample type > Edit Sample type ] to modify selected sample type in the sample type datagrid.

To add a new sample type in the selected datafile, use [ New > Sample type].

  1. Sample type Name
  2. Indicates whether the sample type is active or not.
    Click (tap) cell in the sample type datagrid to change value to true or false. 

Sample type columns

Column name Description
Sample type Name of the Sample type. If the sample type name does not exist in Katmandoo, then raw data for the sample type can not be imported into Katmandoo.
Active True means sample type will listed in the sample type combobox in Score page.

Tips&Tricks

  1. To delete a sample type, you must activate the Score page at least once in order to load the raw data (if available) and then move back to Misc page. Then you can delete the sample type if it does not have any raw data.
