Task > Trial > Manage Trial, Operation & Sample measurement

This will Start the Trial Navigator that is used to manage Trial, Trial operation and Trial unit design as well as Trail raw data.

Click on the Trial Navigator button in the main screen will also start the navigator

The trial navigator allows user to quickly find the trial, trial operation, trial design and raw data information. The navigator has two options to generate the nodes:

When a sub system is first set up the will be no "Site x Site Year" based Node or "Site Year x Trial Type" based Node set up. A Site must be set up originally

See Import Site and site year data

Select which node to use
Once sites have been added Enter ?*? in search field.

And click on the

button or press the ?Enter? key

Click on Site Year

Click on to open the Import Trial Wizard

Select Import Trial Design and select the source file / spread sheet

Click on to select file, "DemoTrial.xls"

When the file has loaded it has not been able to map the Column for Column, Row and block, these have to be added as Virtual Columns,

In this Demo when can import the file "New Virtual Columns to add Trial Design UnitPositionFactor" that has been set up to match the DemoTrial data.

Note: To Import Virtual Columns we haveto close the Import Trial Wizard

After the Virtual Columns have been added open the Import Trial Wizard

Select Import Trial Design and select the source file / spread sheet

Click on to select file, "DemoTrial.xls"

When the Wizard opens the source the "UnitPositionFactor" Columns are now mapped
