Katmandoo as a taxonomic category
ranking below a family and above species and generally consisting of a group of
species exhibiting similar characteristics. (Reference:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/genus).

The "Genus" word is replaced by the value of "GenusCaption" key in the
.config.

Granting Permission to use Genotypes
of Genus

Use [
Task > Genotype
> Manage Genus ] to load all the genus in the database.
Note: The "Genus" word is replaced by the
Genus Caption in the forms and menus.

To add/edit a genus, follow the steps below :
- Select a genus in the genus main form to modify.
- Use [ Record > Add Genus ] or [ Record > Edit Genus ] or [ Record >
Repeat Genus ] to load the Genus Setup Form to add/edit a genus.

- Select a role from the list to grant the
permission to all the System Groups of all
the Sub-system to the genus.

To delete all the genotypes of a genus, follow the steps below :
- Select a genus in the genus main form to delete.
- Use [ Record > Delete ALL the genotypes of selected Genus ] to delete all the
genotypes of the selected Genus.
- Note: if any genotype of the genus has been used in a trial or has Genotype AOV
Mean or has EGV data then the delete process will fail!
