Parse and Display Pedigree form can be used to display pedigree of a selected genotype.
The displayed pedigree can be saved as an image file. It also can export genotype
info, raw data and analysed data of the displayed genotypes. It has following options:
This option allows to search genotype in the database in order to display its pedigree
(ancestors or descendants). Once the pedigree is displayed, raw or analysed data
of the selected genotype in the pedigree can be exported.

in the genotype combobox (3).
- Select a genotype to display its pedigree tree.
- Select an option to display either ancestors or descendants of the selected genotype
(3).
- Uncheck it to expand pedigree to male parents only.
- Number of generations to load data
to expand pedigree.
This option allows to load genotypes in the database using a Genotype Group in order
to display its pedigree (ancestors or descendants). Once the pedigree is displayed,
raw or analysed data of the selected genotype in the pedigree can be exported.

This option can be used to check a pedigree by parsing it using Purdy naming convention
and displaying in the
pedigree tree.

tree as typed. Alternately you can paste a purdy string here to check the pedigree.
- Pedigree Tree which is generated using the parse pedigree
(2) in Purdy naming convention.
- Pedigree in red color denotes backcross.
- Uncheck it to parse the pedigree only after typing entire purdy string.
- Select a Genus to save the parsed pedigree into database.
- Click it to save the parse pedigree (including all the parsed ancestors) into database.
Once a genotype is selected, its ancestors are displayed in the pedigree tree as
illustrated below.

- Number of generations to expand Purdy string (should be less or equal to than number of generations to expand pedigree).
- Number of genotype nodes in the pedigree tree.

- Female parent (circle-shape icon).
- Male parent (square-shape icon).
- Click it to save pedigree tree as an image.
- Click it to activate context menu to export data of
the selected genotype in the pedigree tree. Alternately right-click in the pedigree
tree to display the context menu.

- Expands all the child-nodes of the selected pedigree.
- Collapse (hide) all the child-nodes of the selected pedigree.
- View info of the selected genotype. Or just double click on a node in the pedigree tree to display info of the selected genotype.
- Export info of all the displayed genotypes in the pedigree
tree.
- Export raw data of the selected genotype for upto last five years of the
current year of the selected Sub-system.
- Export analysed data of the selected genotype for upto last five years of the current year of the
selected Sub-system.
