The Latitude and Longitude of GeoCoordinates uniquely identifies a point
(place).
Latitude and Longitude are added in Katmandoo by following processes:
- When Latitude and Longitude is entered for an existing or a new GeoCoordinate
in Location Setup Form, Trial Setup Form or Trial Unit Setup Form, Katmandoo
checks whether the Latitude and Longitude already exist in the GeoCoordinate
table. If it does, then GeoCoordinateId is retrieved and updated in the respective
table. If not, a new record is created in the GeoCoordinate table with given
Latitude and Longitude. Then new GeoCoordinateId is retrieved and updated in
the respective table.
- [ Manage GeoCoordinate ] can be used to add GeoCoordinate records and update
data for the virtual columns of the GeoCoordinate records.
If a GeoCoordinate has already been used, then Latitude and Longitude can not
be modified and it can not be deleted as well.
