Export Trial Design Report

These are specially designed reports for trial design that can be exported into Excel Spreadsheet.

Trial design of the trial must exist in the database in order to generate Trial Design Report.

This wizard can be activated from following two forms:

In the Trial Main Form, use [ Record > Trial Design > Export Trial Design Report ]
In the Trial Design Main Form, use [ Record > Trial Design > Export Trial Design Report ]

It has following options

Select Export Trial Design Map option in the Export Trial Design Report.
Open the export file to initiate formatting of the spreadsheet to use as a Trial Design Map.

Select a Unit Position Virtual Columns to be used a Column Source of the Trial Design Map (Column No in the snapshot).
Select a Unit Position Virtual Columns to be used a Row Source of the Trial Design Map (Row No in the snapshot).
Tick it to include Buffer at the top and end of the Trial Design Map.
Tick it to use Genotype Acronym instead of Genotype Name. If the Genotype Acronym is not available, then it uses Genotype Name when this option is ticked.
Tick it to include Genotype Id in the spreadsheet cell.
Tick it to include Treatment Caption along with Treatment value in the spreadsheet cell.
- If this is ticked, then the spreadsheet cell will have: "Sow Date 18/02/2008"
- If this is NOT ticked, the spreadsheet cell will have: 18/02/2008
Tick it to include Replicate Number (of the Genotype within the trial) in the spreadsheet cell.
If this is ticked, then the spreadsheet cell will have: "REP1" otherwise then the spreadsheet cell will have: "1"
Default separator between the values in each spreadsheet cell is pipe ( | ) but it can be changed here as required.

Click it to Preview the trial design map and then export.

Click on [ Export ] to export the trial design map into Excel spreadsheet (ie it does not have option to export into other file format!).
Click on a cell in the datagrid to find same value in other cell.

Select Export Trial Design to use with Sequence Label option in the Export Trial Design Report.
It generates spreadsheet with column UnitSequenceNumber on which the spreadsheet rows are sorted so that it can be used to produce Sequence Label as shown in the snapshot (3).

Select a Unit Position Virtual Columns to be used a Row Source of the Trial Design Map (Row No in the snapshot).
Selected option to Export Trial Design to use with Sequence Label.

The datagrid is shorted on column UnitSequenceNumber to produce sequence in snake travelling fashion as shown in the snapshot. See Column No and Row No.
Click on [ Export ] to export the trial design map into Excel spreadsheet (ie it does not have option to export into other file format!).
Click on a cell in the datagrid to find same value in other cell.
