Tips and Tricks

This section outlines some Tips and Tricks that can be used in Katmandoo to quickly perform tasks. User can share your tips&tricks by sending them to Katmandoo Team to include in this page. 

• Double click on a cell of datagrid in Main Form to copy its content to Clipboard and then paste to any other application.
• Click on column header to sort datagrid in Main Form.
• Use autoresize to reset width or height in datagrid in Main Form.
• Use [ View > Arrange columns in Main Form ] to change the column position of datagrid in Main Form.

• Enter at least one letter (a-z) rather than * in search value in Navigator to load as less data as possible.
• Use auto-complete filter value to display only the matching in datagrid in Main Form.
• Contains word is one of the powerful filter operator.

• Parse pedigree as you type.
• Save pedigree tree as image (in JPG, GIFF, BMP etc formats).
• Double click on genotype node in pedigree tree to display info of the genotype.

2. Export in HTML format
3. Customise sorting order of exported data
